Shipping policy

Shipping

We currently ship within India only. Shipping is free on every order, and all prices include 18% GST as levied by the Government of India. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.

Dispatch

Every SHED object is made by hand, in a small edition, at our studio in Surat. Depending on the piece, your order is dispatched within 4 days to 4 weeks of being placed. The dispatch time for each piece is shown under "Shipping" on its product page.

Delivery

Orders are sent through registered courier partners from our studio at 29-30, Samaysaar Bungalow, Near Nandini 3, VIP Road, Vesu, Surat, Gujarat – 395007. Once your order is dispatched, delivery time depends on where it is headed. Occasionally couriers face delays beyond our control; we will keep you informed if this happens.

Packaging

We take as much care in packing our objects as we do in making them. Each piece is packed with hard felt and secured inside a sturdy GI box, inspired by traditional Angadiya boxes, keeping everything safely in place on its way to you.

Damaged or incorrect items

If you receive a faulty or wrongly delivered product, or find a genuine quality or manufacturing defect, please write to us at shop@outoftheshed.in within 24 hours of delivery. Include your order number, date of purchase, delivery address and a photograph of the item, and we will resolve it on a case-by-case basis.
